The Batman director Matt Reeves may have found The Penguin in Colin Farrell.
Matt Reeves continues to round out his cast for The Batman. Heroic Hollywood can confirm that Colin Farrell is in talks to play The Penguin for the upcoming Batman reboot. Colin Farrell is the latest name in discussion The Penguin role and is the likely choice to sign on.
If he signs on, Colin Farrell will join a long line of legendary actors who have brought The Penguin to life. Danny Devito, Meredith Burgess and Robin Taylor Lord have all previously played The Penguin in live-action and Colin Farrell may have some big shoes to fill.

Full plot details for The Batman are currently under wraps, though the film will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that includes Catwoman, The Penguin, and The Riddler. The Matt Reeves film will follow Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector and will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Batman.
Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, and Paul Dano as the Riddler.
