Dark Fate’ Extended Look Focuses On Dani Ramos
A new extended look at Terminator: Dark Fate focuses on Dani Ramos, the latest target of the Terminators.
Set in a continuity that ignores all sequels after James Cameron’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator: Dark Fate reveals that while the nuclear holocaust of Judgment Day was prevented in the future, a dark fate where Terminators assault civilization and subjugate humanity will still come to pass if the right actions are not taken. Much like Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) 35 years ago, Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) finds herself targeted by a robotic assassin from the future (portrayed by Diego Luna); he seeks to kill her not for what she’s done, but for what she will do in the war ahead.
However, Dani has three guardians to protect her: Sarah Connor, Grace (Mackenzie Davis), and the T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger). The international ad puts a spotlight on Dani, and features a substantial amount of bilingual dialogue in both English and Spanish, befitting of how the film begins in Latin America. Check out the new extended look below.
After being largely uninvolved with his own franchise for years, James Cameron returns as a producer for the latest installment of the series. While the new film makes use of modern special effects more than previous installments, it also adheres more closely to the tone established in other movies.
Here’s the official synopsis for Terminator: Dark Fate:
Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (T-800) return in their iconic roles in Terminator: Dark Fate, directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by visionary filmmaker James Cameron and David Ellison. Following the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator: Dark Fate also stars Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta.
Terminator: Dark Fate will be released in theaters on November 1, 2019. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on Terminator: Dark Fate!
