Endgame’s Chris Hemsworth Sings Johnny Cash As Fat Thor
During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Avengers: Endgame star Chris Hemsworth shared a new video of himself singing Johnny Cash’s version of “Hurt” as Fat Thor.
After Avengers: Endgame jumped ahead five years after Thanos decimated half of the population in the universe, fans learned Chris Hemsworth’s Thor had gained significant weight after years of drinking and isolation. While this transformation was the result of the guilt Chris Hemsworth’s Thor felt over failing to defeat Thanos and save his fallen comrades, the God of Thunder’s new look offered some of the more humorous moments of Avengers: Endgame.
Now, Chris Hemsworth has shared a new video of himself singing Johnny Cash’s version of the song “Hurt” in full costume as “Fat Thor.” Of course, “Hurt” was originally written by Trent Reznor for his band Nine Inch Nails in 1995 before Johnny Cash covered the song seven years later.
