Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man Uses Giant Insects In ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Artwork

A stunning piece of Avengers: Endgame concept art shows Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man using giant insects to fight Thanos’ army.

A new piece of concept art from Avengers: Endgame shows off an incredible scene that didn’t make it into the film, with Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man using his technology to fight Thanos’ army with giant insects. While Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang fought the army as Giant-Man, the scene would have showed armoured ants and flying ants causing havoc for the alien invaders in the dramatic final battle in Avengers: Endgame.

Although the previous Ant-Man films have used enlarged ants for comedic value, Avengers: Endgame would have weaponized them against Thanos. The art shows off an armoured ant being ridden by Doctor Strange and a figure who looks like Rocket Raccoon wielding two enormous machine guns. Meanwhile, the other image shows flying ants attacking one of the Leviathans in mid-air. It’s a shame this Avengers: Endgame moment didn’t make it into the film because it would’ve been fun to see. Take a look below.
