Warner Bros. and DC’s Joker offered fans a new take on the origins of the Batman villain with Joaquin Phoenix in the titular role. Of course, with this new interpretation of the Joker came a new look for Joaquin Phoenix’s incarnation of the Clown Prince of Crime.
While this new look for Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker was unlike any before, digital artist Dalton Barrett was evidently curious to see what this version might look like with the Dark Knight Returns design. Now, the digital artist has unveiled a piece that imagines Joquin Phoenix with the classic white suit and hairstyle the Joker sported in The Dark Knight Returns.

Director Todd Phillips “Joker” centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone fictional story not seen before on the big screen.
