See Justice League Star Henry Cavill With Black Superman Suit & Beard
Henry Cavill finally dons Superman’s iconic black suit and beard after his resurrection in Justice League thanks to an impressive new piece of fan art.
Since Zack Snyder’s Justice League underwent numerous studio cuts, fans never got to see Henry Cavill don the iconic black suit after Superman’s resurrection towards the end of the film. A new piece of fan art reimagines one of the cut scenes, with Henry Cavill’s Superman wearing the black suit while also sporting a beard — almost exactly like the comics. Although thankfully, he doesn’t have Superman’s long hair after his original fight with Doomsday in the comics.
The piece comes from digittal artist “skull101ify,” who uses the “you must be Alfred” scene from Justice League as the inspiration for the piece showing Henry Cavill’s Superman with the black suit and black beard. It’s an impressive look at the black suit Superman if Zack Snyder’s Justice League had kept the idea. Take a look at Henry Cavill’s Superman with the black costume and beard in the artwork below.
What do you think of the art of Henry Cavill sporting the black Superman costume and beard in Justice League? Do you wish he’d got that look in the film? Tell us in the comments!
